Here’s the story…

When the architect and the artist Raul Renanda created his architecture and paintings, a sailboat is always his inspirations. As an Indonesian born designer, Raul Renanda learns that most Indonesian vernacular architecture was using boat terminology. The more he studied, the more apparent that his ancestor, from thousands of years ago, arrived in the beautiful islands by sailboats.

This inspiration also appears when he creates a beautiful concert-grand piano, the Sjuman+Renanda piano, which clearly shows the boat's shape. His bold ideas and capability to produce a luxury product lead to his new creation, a luxury yachts.

Together with Firman Santoso - a luxury property specialist and a yacht enthusiast - and Nino Krisnan, a naval architect, created a new design-oriented yachts design and build, SKAYR.

SKAYR's vision is to combine high-end craftsmanship with emotional design with a focus on user experience. Raul Renanda and Firman Santoso both care for the user's feel based on their experience creating luxury residential. A boat basically, a property on the water.

They carefully studied the flow and space experience on their architectural project and implemented it in SKAYR Yachts. Each material use and high standard hand made craftsmanship selected and combined with a classical-contemporary design that suits a modern lifestyle with a touch of classical details.

Nino Krisnan is a well-known naval architect for more than two decades. An Agroecology enthusiast who puts environmental issues as an important focus in his designs. He leads the technical advisory on each boat build by SKAYR.

He selected the best materials and components for each production as well as new technology to balance usability, reliability, and sustainability. These men enter the new generations for Yachts making with the mission to create the best yachts for years to come and with a new approach in designing modern yachts.

SKR 40 RENANDA is the first project launch in 2020.

A pantry and a high-end entertainment system provided on board to make sure the yachts' experience is smooth, fun, and elegant on each trip.
